Pastor Michael was born and raised in Central Florida, in a small town affectionately called, "The Heart of Florida," or Haines City. He spent many days enjoying favorite past-times such as, bass fishing, dove hunting, water skiing and riding the waves at Daytona. It was Sunday evening on October 27th, 1985, at age 17, that he accepted Christ as His Lord and Savior while attending a Sunday evening service at the Haines City Church of God. In 1986 a newly appointed pastor and his family came to the Haines City COG. His oldest daughter, Amber, soon captured Michael's heart and they married in 1991. In 1994 God blessed them with a son, Nicholas.

Pastor Michael accepted the call to ministry in 1991 and successfully completed each level of certification in the Church of God, as well as the COG Ministerial Internship Program. He later earned his B.A. in Biblical Studies at International Bible Seminary, Plymouth, FL. Michael has over 30 years of ministry experience, serving in a variety of positions as a layman and fulltime ministry. Michael's first pastorate began in 1998 at Word Life Fellowship in Intercession City, FL. Afted 7 years patoring, He joined the staff of the Sanctuary COG, Deland, FL. In 2013 He was appointed pastor of River of Life Church in Starke, FL and in 2015, God opened the door for him to become the Lead Pastor at Boyette Springs Church of God, an awesome church in Riverview, FL.

Michael enjoys spending time with family, fishing, golfing, vacationing on Marco Island or in the Smokey Mtns.
